Prescription for Affliction

Affliction is a means of preparing us to know Jesus as he knows himself, to prepare us to become like him. Life passes so quickly. Is it not better to have a most splendid crown and a little suffering, than an ordinary crown and no suffering? The prescription for affliction seems to be love.
