We glorify the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit. The Spirit’s role is to bring us into communion with God so we can relate to him interpersonally. He prepares our hearts for listening and inspires us to thirst for God who is love and truth. It is also his task to reveal Jesus to us and make him present. We are not truly free unless we are living in communion with the Trinity. Human nature is confined to narrow limits. In communion with God we enter into the limitless spaces of divinity. The Holy Spirit who permeates our whole being with his anointing is the interior master of Christian prayer which is union of the soul with God.
